NTMEDA has board positions available for motivated individuals who are wanting to give back to the dance community. If you are insterested in any of these positions please email president@ntmeda.org.

PRESIDENT

Is the public "face" of NTMEDA. Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and overseeing board meetings, creating meeting agendas, and organizing board members on committees. The president also is responsible for handling communication to NTMEDA (email and mail) from members and businesses. Fills in for any missing board position duties until position is filled.

ADVERTISING

Responsible for soliciting local businesses (instructors, event sponsors, studios, restaurants, retail) for ads in Papyrus and web. Collect ads and submit them to Papyrus editor. Reports all activity at each board meeting.

EVENTS COORDINATOR

Responsible for creating and organizing events chosen by the board. This responsibility includes: advertising, location rental, supplies needed for event, procurement of talent, manage/delegating board/staff, and coordinating clean up. Reports all event activity to the board and delegates needs at each board meeting and in the interim via email.
