2/2 - NEW NTMEDA EVENT
NTMEDA "Night Out" at Al Amir!
Join NTMEDA on Saturday February 2nd, 2008 as we spend the night out enjoying the belly dancing, food, hookahs and friends at Al Amir Restaurant in Dallas. This is a great opportunity to get out and celebrate on a Saturday night with your NTMEDA friends, meet new people, and celebrate North Texas dance!

2/10 - COFFEE MEETUP
Coffee and some Shimmy talk anyone?
NTMEDA will be starting up the Belly Dance Meet-ups again in the new year. Look for advertisements about meetings in your area.
Our first one will take place:
1-3pm
Lewisville at the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble bookstore
There will be limited seating and a guest speaker! Dave from Image Fusion Studios will be joining us to talk about photography and your dance! Specific topics will be elaborated on later. However, you can guarantee that you do not want to miss opportunity to chit chat, network and sip your double latte extra tall flavored iced coffee thing with friends!

Here's your chance to study with a variety of teachers from the North Texas area all in one space! Cheap Thrills is NTMEDA's way of providing its members the opportunity to take workshops with a number of North Texas teachers and study a variety of styles - all in one place, on one day for one low price!

(Bring a good attitude!)
Tamra Henna - Beautiful Lebanese Style
Rivkah - Ballet Elements of Classical Oriental Dance
Miabella - Balancing and dance class. Please bring something to balance - sword, tray, cane. Knee pads are also recommended.
Karina Rasheed - Flow and Continuity in Egyptian Dance
Rachael from the Wings of Isis - Skirt Dance
(Bring skirt)
Radu Stregoyev-Ferenczy - Arabic rhythms and drumming
( Bring drum or zills)
Esmeray of Cybele - Dancers and Drummers class - both are welcome. The class focus on having the two work together, subtle cues, etc.
NTMEDA Members: $15 for three hours of classes.
Non-Members: $25 for three hours of classes or $10 dollars per class.
$25 New Member/Renew Special: Non-members and past NTMEDA members that need to renew their membership can apply for NTMEDA membership for $20, pay for 1 class at $5 and get TWO classes free.
